Your favourite PC exclusive series

This thread is for everyone to share their opinions and tell us their favourite video game series, exclusive to the PC or Mac. It can be any series, but it has to have at least two games for it to count as a series and it must be exclusive to this gaming platform. Popular examples: StarCraft, The Elder Scrolls (first two games were completely exclusive), Warhammer etc.

My favourite is a tie between the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and The Witcher games. The Stalker games are the most atmospheric games I have ever played, and sometimes also the scariest. On the other hand, The Witcher games are also very atmospheric but the gameplay and pretty much everything else is of equal quality to the Stalker series... though there is a little less bugs.

i'm not too into buying games for the PC, Because of my love for all consoles XD But i'd have to say, if it's allowed, World Of Warcraft for me. Idk whether the expansions count but i think they should, they're all big enough

WoW is a massive MMO, I can see why people like it. As you know death, I've played it for almost a full month but then it got hacked. It was an awesome game, worth the small monthly price.

Yes indeed WOW is a very good game for the price that you have to pay And Wow has a lot of games after it not just WOW but Warcraft 1 : orcs vs humans came out a long time ago i know it was in the 90´s and then later on came Warcraft 3 : reigon of chaos and the expansion for that RTS was Warcraft 3 : Frozen throne and that explains almost all the lore for the game it is a very good game.

Also this is my answer to what the topic askes i like Warcraft by blizzard but i cant deside between that or Elder scrolls they are both fantastic and i cant wait for skyrim.

Elder Scrolls is my second favourite after The Witcher and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's an awesome series, but when Skyrim finally comes out on 11/11/11, it might take the spot as number one for TES series.

I agree with you both about WOW and Skyrim. But i think that Skyrim is either going to be a major, major success or be basically an altered version of Oblivion. But i hope the Best comes out of Skyrim

Then that still won't be bad, just a little disappointing, right? I mean, Oblivion was awesome, but I'm still so glad that they've finally created a completely new engine for it and got rid of GameBryo. Believe it or not, “The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind”, “The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion” and “Fallout 3” all actually used GameBryo. So yeah, I'm really happy to see how the game plays on a new engine, it should be very interesting.

It isn't the same stuff I showed to you and Servannus; it shows A LOT more than the previous video. You should watch it, the game looks amazing. While the graphics don't beat most of the good-looking stuff that was recently released for the PC (Metro 2033, The Witcher 2 etc.), they are still quite awesome and the gameplay looks immensely fun. The horse-riding also looks good.

yeah don't get me wrong, It wouldn't be that bad if it was just a repeat. But the fact that the world is quite up to date in gaming, a knew engine or ideas might not of been thought of or made for the game. So it could be another Oblivion

No. Thankfully, there's definitely a new engine for the game. They've confirmed it many times a few months ago.
