Is anyone else uber excited for Halo 4 and Halo: combat evolved anniversary? i really can't wait for them to get to us Sad i don't buy many games atm because i'm currently happy with my other 100 hundred games XD I really want to see what brilliant ideas Halo will contain this time around. From the trailer for Halo 4 it looks like it's going to literally blow everyone's mind Wink Now Halo: combat evolved anniversary, I remember Halo: combat evolved from the xbox, one of the first ever games to make me awe in amazement at it, so the remastered version should be much better, that isn't a definite, it should be and hopefully it is Smile

Halo 4... meh, can't say I'm excited for it but I guess it would be the same for you if you heard about Metal Gear Solid 5. Razz Both Halo and MGS are those sort of series that require you to play previous titles to get the full experience, and that’s good because people shouldn’t miss out on either.

On the other hand, Halo: Anniversary; that's looking interesting and very promising to me. I heard it will run on an in-house engine, which is great to hear since I am sick of big budget games using engines such as the Unreal 2.5/3 etc. So this is really refreshing and sounds good. Smile Besides, I like video game remakes because they usually turn out to be good, unlike the hundreds of shitty movie remakes. Laughing

I do find it a bit upsetting that Halo doesn't make you ump for joy XD but i think as long as you've tried and played it, that's fine. but go to your friends house to play it though Wink

This is confusing... people usually use the term "hammer" to describe playing a game a lot whilst "bash" is usually used instead "hate". It took me a while to realize what you've just wrote. Laughing

no no, if you bash something when speaking, it means hate, if you bash a game as in play, it means hammer XD some say bash some say hammer.. normally i say "i play it a lot" for simplicity Wink

Me and my brother have completed it 100% in-game, so not all of the achievements yet XD we've done it on legendary, all skulls collected and all terminals collected. It was so much fun, hard at one point because of some stupid enemies but you know XD

I hate the flood. I want to blow them up. I want to beat the crap out of them. They annoy me. Neutral

They're really fun once you get to know them ;D they're quite a considerable threat though and actually a big part of the story line Razz

That's why I dislike them, they're just space zombies, and for some reason Bungie thought it was a good idea to make the Halo games "revolve" around them. And yet their presence in Halo 2's plot is completely unnecessary - if you removed them, it would make no difference. Not very well thought out if you ask me.

I think Halo 2 is more around the covenant and Human war, but the flood need to be there as they're what is capable of killing the galaxy.. They're quite easy to be honest.. just gotta know how to deal with them.. each game is different. Also they're not so much zombie's, they're literally parasite's.. like the goa'uld from Stargate.. the flood don't bother me too much.. Razz

Yes, they are easy, but they're still annoying because they're all over the place. I mean, it makes more sense for Dead Space to use a space zombie rip-off but here it just doesn't really seem appropriate. When I played Combat Evolved and saw the flood, I thought at first that their inclusion was really out of place and going too far to be honest.

when it's named Halo after the Halo rings.. and the Halo rings were there to stop the flood, they're called the flood as floods just wipe civilizations out with ease and just sort of swam on everything. So yeah the Halo rings were there to kill.. well not the flood but it's food.. it does make quite a bit of sense, plus it's a good realistic sort of thing. The covenant think it's a holy thing and stuff and it'll help them on there path.. but in fact it will kill them.. and everything else.. quite ironic tbh XD

Yeah, I understood that in the game, but I still think the Flood could have been portrayed in a much better and more original way. But that's just my opinion. Wink
